"The name of the game is Texas Hold 'Em."
To join one of the games, just
reply to the Email
Invite that goes out two
weeks prior. After I have confirmations, I will bulk forward
them to the host. To make this simple for me, I am requiring
an email address from each individual rather than one per couple to
help me to keep track of playas.
~There are no re-buys per round.~ If you lose out, you are on your own until the next round starts, so don't lose out unless you would rather play Foosball or Darts or Air hockey or whatever, then feel free to just give me your money. I'll take it, I'm not proud.
The Slop Chest. There is a $1 kick to the Slop Chest at the beginning of every event you attend. This is in addition to the $5 buy in per round and is per night, not per game. At the inaugural game, two cards will be drawn from a scrap deck and stuck to the Slop Chest. The first playa to win a hand which includes those two cards, empties the Slop Chest into their pocket and two new cards are drawn. If the chest is not emptied the first night, it just keeps filling at subsequent events until someone wins it all. Effing sweet! Question of the Day: Why does the phrase "Slop Chest" sound so dirty? Answer: Because you are a low-minded pig and should be ashamed of yourself.
Rankings
and the Tournament.
If you win a round at any scheduled event, you will earn
25 points
per playa that lost out in the round you won.
(For example; win at a table of
seven playas, you earn 175 points)
This will be tracked and
tabulated on the
Rankings
page, duh. There are eight scheduled events before the
Tournament;
and you can play at one or all of them, it doesn't matter. At
the Summer
Tournament
on August 23rd, the rules will be slightly different;
Winnings. Since the buy in is tiny, we keep it simple. 2nd place gets their money back and the winner takes the rest. Can it get any easier? Copyrighted 2008 Veterinary Management Services of Minnesota; last updated 04/26/08 10:03:39 AM
